Creative Check-In

Hey! I wanted to check in and share a few creative updates.
This year, I’ve shifted my focus from performing to writing a new play and exploring new artistic mediums. Earlier this year, I was honored to participate in the Audio Publishers Association’s New Narrator Workshop. That experience sparked a deep interest in voice-over work and opened up new ways of thinking about how my characters can be brought to life through narration.
As part of my narration training, I incorporated the accents and dialects from my one-woman show, and I received encouraging feedback on my ability to transition between different characters. Since then, I’ve taken an introductory voice-over course as well as a voice acting class focused on animation. I’m excited to continue my training and to learn how to bring my voice from the stage to the mic.
Beyond creative development, I’ve also been building professional relationships and expanding my network. I’ve connected with international creative communities, and I hope to share my work with them in the near future.
I’m proud to share that I was named a semi-finalist for both the Signpost Fellowship and the Dramatists Guild Fellowship. While I didn’t advance to the final round, I’m truly grateful that my writing is being recognized and considered for these opportunities.
Finally, I launched The Solo Fusion Lab, a digital experimental space where I can explore, create, and share new work.
Thank you so much for continuing to support my journey!
