As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on how much this year shaped the direction of my creative life. While it may not have been the most public or performance-heavy year, it was one of the most important. I made a conscious decision to shift my focus toward training, development, and long-term sustainability.

One of the biggest highlights of the year was being accepted into the Audio Associates Publishers Voice Over Workshop. That experience sparked a deeper interest in voice over work, particularly in animation, commercial voice over, and audiobooks. Following the workshop, I committed to expanding my skill set and spent much of the year taking commercial and animation voiceover classes, strengthening both my technique and confidence behind the mic.

I’m also incredibly proud to have been named a semi finalist for the Signpost Fellowship this summer. Being recognized by a fellowship that supports bold, original voices felt deeply affirming and encouraged me to keep investing in my own storytelling.

Speaking of storytelling, I’ve been writing and developing a new solo show throughout the year. This piece is still evolving and I’m excited to enroll in a workshop next year to further develop and refine it. Creating work that reflects where I am now as an artist and a person has been both challenging and energizing.

Looking ahead, one of the most exciting milestones on the horizon is being accepted to write and perform an original story for Generation Women in January of 2026. It will be my first time performing at Joe’s Pub and I couldn’t be more thrilled!

Overall, 2025 was a year of intentional groundwork. I invested in skills, training, and creative structures that will support the next phase of my career, not just the next gig. I’m entering 2026 feeling more focused, more prepared, and deeply excited about what’s to come!
